Sulfuric acid will have a reaction on any substance. May help to polish by disolving residue, or eat away at, corroding the item. Best to do an experiment in a controlled environment, like a school lab and supervised. I know that cutting oinions, believe it or not, the fumes combined with your natural salts in your tears will create sulphuric acid. That is why our eyes burn when cutting onions.
