Tyto is right about it being completely anonymous. But what I've found over the years is that over 50% of the anonymous questions are either commented on by the asker or in some cases answered by the asker also. I see it almost every day. They'll ask a question and then comment on someone's answer or they will answer their own question, usually as spam but not always.
