Don't some of these spammers that come on here remind you of the same ones that call your home trying to sell some service or such?

Me: Hello?

Telemarketer: Hello, sir. This call is not to sell you anything, but I have a breakthrough product that I think you would be interested in purchasing...

I like to let them drabble on about their product and think I'm ready to make a purchase, then tell them I'm not interested. I enjoy waisting their time.

When I get such 'phone calls,I effect a strong Eastern European accent and speak gobbledegook down the 'phone, it's quite funny, really.

I have my answering machine pick up any calls where I don't recognize the number. The message on my machine is, "You have reached the ______ residence. If you are selling something, hang up now. We don't want it or need it. We have everything we need, thank you. If you are a friend or family leave a message and we will call you back when we find our phone."  The telemarketers hang up pretty quickly.

I don't even pick up the phone anymore if I don't recognize the number; just let it go to voicemail.  It's like having strangers suddenly appear in your living room to ask you for money!
