i am traveling to india what is the best place to visit and shopping?

i live in jodhpur it is so beautiful city  and people are so kind ...

Friends living in Shimla of the most beautiful places in India.

All of the big towns are good for shopping. Spencer Plaza in Chennai is great fun, for instance. The main shopping street in Pondicherry is good, and Pondy has a nice beach and nightlife.

Bangalore has a huge shopping centre, newer than most Indian towns, and if you can't buy something in Bangalore it just means you don't have enough money.

Mumbai is just insane on several levels (but quite exhilarating and an assault on the senses).

No-one would describe any of these places as "nice" (although bits of Pondy are OK).

Shimla and Jodhpur, mentioned elsewhere and Mangalore or Goa are probably better places to go on holiday.

India has also "The Red Fort", "The Taj Mahal" and beautiful temples everywhere. You should probably google.
