I followed his career from early on and he truly was "the greatest". I didn't care much for his personal reasons to dodge the draft but as a boxer, there was none better.

There's no denying he was a great boxer....personally, draft dodger is how I see him.

I knew nothing about him except for his daughter "Laila Ali" was a contestant on chopped. She had a beautiful personality and out look on life. My condolences go to her and her family.
Beside all his "bluster" and showmanship, technically he was a fantastic boxer.Â
He stood up for what he believed in. Whether I agree with his position on or not, I still respect anyone willing to do so.
He was a very likable guy and I doubt anyone will have anything bad to say about him. Except the trolls that is.
