What's a good obsession?

Being addicted to testing PC games. I'm obsessed with them being historically correct. I'm known at the company for that and they appreciate it.

Here is one idea that I am playing with...and I think it does relate to a certain kind of obsession... of the same genre maybe that Bikergirl is describing.

Because in some Buddhist traditions, it is believed that just the practice of doing ANYTHING very very well can take you to enlightenment.

So for example, a book came out once about "the Zen of archery," and in Japan, even the simple act of serving tea beautifully...the exquisitely lovely Tea Houses...

So that would be the kind of obsession I might choose as wholesome and good.
