One of our esteemed, long-term members (who shall remain nameless) confessed today that he doesn't know how to cook a kitten. Does anybody have a kitten recipe to share? With Christmas on the horizon, maybe festive baked kitten would be appropriate.

Easy ...you just boil then dip it in melted garlic butter.

Kitten Almond Ding

       

Meat from 2 whole kittens (about 2 lbs.)
          1 egg white
          1 tsp. Salt
          1 tsp. Cornstarch
          1 tsp. Soy sauce
          Dash of white pepper
          2 med. Carrots
          2 tbsp. Oyster sauce or 1 tbsp. Dark soy sauce
          1 tbsp. Plus 1 tsp. Cornstarch
          1/4 tsp. Water
          Vegetable oil
          2 tbsp. Vegetable oil
          1/4 c. Diced onion
          1 tsp. Finely chopped garlic
          1 tsp. Finely chopped gingerroot
          1 c. Diced celery
          1/2 c. Diced canned water chestnuts
          1 tsp. Salt
          1/2 d. Diced bamboo shoots
          1 can (4 oz.) button mushrooms, drained
          1/2 c. Kitten broth made from boiled kitten meat
          1 c. Frozen peas
          1/2 c. Roasted whole almonds
          2 tbsp. Chopped green onions (with tops)

Dream? .. not bloody likely .. Nightmare perhaps .. of weirdos with wild eyes in kitty costumes running around bopping people on the heads and leaving cat treats on the sidewalk .. (and I'm not talking about the 'edible' kind)
