Not good ....I was wide awake at 3:30 am this morning staring at my clock ... Waiting for my Alarm to go off at 5am ... And now I'm tired and grumpy 😡
I'm trying to stick to my regular schedule, but it seems my body has other ideas. I'm not adjusting very well.
I hate it. At 5:30PM, it was totally dark here.
The only problem I have with it is that it gets dark too early. I would rather be outside doing something.
Hi Megan Goodgirl,
Well I am still thoroughly enjoying it...when I was working, and before that attending school/college, I would not turn my watch back for a couple of weeks, even a month.
Then, every time I looked at my watch to worry about being late, I could remember with delight that I still had an extra hour! (That's just a little tip, in case you ever need something like that sometime...)
I hate it. I've said it before I hate it. Hate it. Hate it. Turning back the time.
I LOOVVE DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME!
First off dogs don't care what the clock says and still want to get up like it never changed. Secondly, now people are coming home from work and having to walk their dogs in the dark. I live where there are not a lot of street lights so it can be hard to see them. I hate the fall time change. (Grrr!)
Of course usually it has issues on it's own!
We constantly consume our behaviors into habits! We get shaped with our daily habits. So when we get used to certain clock pattern, our mind get the expectations into a habit so we expect the same result everyday! And when the pattern changes! At the first it's usually difficult and disappointing to cope with the new clock and daylight timing. For so many it comes with schedule failures during the first days! It has issues but we all can get used to it eventually!
Great! Since I have to be up by 5:00AM and outside to walk the dog and meet my daughter's bus by 6:30AM, I'm really grateful to not be out there in the dark anymore.
I don't like it as much because it gets dark earlier so it feels like I want to be inside earlier rather than out doing something. :(
I like the earlier darkness. As for adjusting, first -being retired helps as I don't really have a rigid schedule. And secondly - left Monday to spend four days in Disneyland with daughter and 5 year old grandson. A couple of days of trying to keep up with him all day reset our clocks very quickly. I still hurt.Â
