This is one of those questions we can really only answer for ourselves. Our answer need have no application to other people.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be rich at the expense of other people. I may not be sociable but I actually like people and wish them well, I wouldn't want to exploit them.

I'll opt for the third choice: I'll be honest and comfortable. :)

I think I'd rather be honest and poor. In the end, why would I want all the riches but drive everyone else away. Someone said in an answer awhile ago that wealth isn't worth it if you have no one to share it with. :)

I could not live with being dishonest, so poor and honest. I believe in working hard as well, so how about comfortable and honest?

Of those two options, I would choose honest and poor .... But I do think there is a third option in real life.

Which one permits me to sleep better at night.

Its easier to become honest than it is to become rich. Let me get the hard part out of the way first.

Well if my preference was the ladder, no telling what's true. In the most likely circumstances that you're talking about, I would rather be honest. I dont think this question is realistically understandable enough to get a very clear answer.

I would like to be: Fair.  Sadly, life is not fair and that is a bad excuse for anyone being ridiculously rich. But its still true to an extent.

Truth over BS!
