I have 4 kids and I'm pretty sure that I've seen all of those TV holiday shows at least 86,000 times. I can't stand to watch them today.

Nah. Apart from the grandkids, we don't bother much with Christmas.

You know it is crazy but for some reason this year I am actually getting into the Christmas spirit! I am actually excited! I saw a few Christmas lights put up on houses last night and felt that "child hood thrill" I once had. I saw a Christmas cartoon and it made me smile and not want to vomit. It was corny but that was okay for me for once. I realized yesterday it is a month away and I have not said "bah hum bug." My dad began decorating the kitchen with Christmas decor and it didn't upset me! Each year I am healing and that is okay!!! :0)

I will be looking forward to seeing them, yeah. Now that I live away from home, it's nice to come home after finals and watch Home Alone, A Christmas Story, and Christmas Vacation with my family.

Not ready at all! It's not even December yet. Maybe I'm just not getting the Christmas spirit this year.

I've seen all of the Christmas specials too many times now!, and will do almost anything to watch something else!  I'm getting more into the Christmas spirit this year.  I decorated my shack in the sand every year up until 2007, put out 5,000 plus lights along the front fence, the house, and the garage.  Then I had a life changing event and stopped decorating for Christmas!  This year I put a single strand of lights in front  400 blinking red, 400 blinking white, and 400 blinking blue.  Then one string of solid blue representing the thin blue line.  500+ feet long.  Then I added two lasers in blue and green projecting stars on the house.I always respected the reason for celebrating the holiday, just hate getting presents!  Yes, I say Merry Christmas, not that politically correct junk!

It does get repetitive but usually its barely something im concentrating on, just hanging out with the family and eating/drinking or talking. More of a background thing.
