What a day. I get goose bumps thinking about what these Veterans went through, men and women. I have so much respect for them and all Veterans...those of us who have never served can really never know.
Pearl Harbour was the worst sort of cowardly attack, and from a country that had (at one time anyway) a real sense of military honour.
From the moment that the first bomb landed, Japan condemned itself to humiliating defeat.
You can attack a tiger if you want to, but you have to accept the inevitable consequences.
To this day, I will never forget that memorial. Going there and seeing it changed me. I will remember that for the rest of my life. Next to the war memorials in Washington, never has there been a more sobering sight for me to behold. I bow my head in reverence.
