Sorry Otis.... I am not much of a meat eater so there goes the sandwhich and I could never understand the craze of people pushing a pink stroller with a dog sticking its head out looking at me with a look like "I once had testicles!" Or "Help me! Help me!" I understand a sweater for a pet if its snowing outside but I never understood the dress up thing. (My moms dog had a ladybug outfit and a flower outfit..... And it wasn't for Halloween!)
Its national dress up your pet day.and national hot pastrami sandwich day. So is this your day??๐๐๐๐๐
It is somewhat my day Otis. Hot pastrami sandwiches are pretty good. Although I haven't had one for some time. And the only dressing up our dog Sadie gets is a collar with jingle bells around Christmas time.
Don't eat beef, so no pastrami. And as for dressing up my dogs... They have special collars for certain holidays, and I put headbands or hats on them for other holidays,ย and take pictures. Actually dressing them up isn't my thing, or theirs. Oh! And they do have bandanas. Arabella has two. One says "Just throw the damn ball!" And the other says "Because I am the Princess." Skully just got one for Christmas that says, "Squirrelenator" ๐
If I am going to the deli, I want the standard nova lox "sandwich."
I do love hot pastrami, but this week I have had the lox twice.
The last time I went where they serve the lox for that sandwich was about 5 years ago.
(Kind of funny when you think about it.)
Just a thought---there was question on here recently about the usefulness of mean, mode, median, and range in everyday life.
Try analyzing the average cost per week of my lox sandwiches over the last 5 years or so.ย You can use an average of $6 per sandwich.
Aw I always miss Dress Up Your Pet Day
