I have a dear internet friend who wanted to commemorate dragonfly46. So he had an artist make me a dragonfly out of things from nature. It's in a shadow box.
A fossilized whale vertebrae, it's about 9 inches across.
Fossilized dinosaur poop.
Dinosaur egg clutch.
A quart mason jar filled with my bellybutton lint. About 30 years worth.
You can choose the weirdest.
Ten year old underwear i saved with stains
My phone
My prize 300-year-old Japanese Geroku Katana. I'm told fewer than 20 exist outside of Japan. No words can convey the power of wielding this weapon.
My old Converse shoes. They're old, dirty, falling apart and about a size too small, but I can't bear to part with them, because we've been through so much together. I still wear them to Guide stuff.
hmm a bell that I got back at a thrift store with my sister.
Several of my dolls .... Like the Frank Sinatra doll that sings a line of "Witchcraft".
A tin can which held chocolate candy, decorated like an antique post office made in England.
I have a 50+ year old dress box from Filene's. This box has been used as a gift box and handed around to various relatives who saved and recycled it. As part of my grandmother's estate, I inherited this dress box. My son just rolled his eyes when I told him not to throw it away.
a mindset.
