I like my coffee with water only, and sometimes the water seems a bit much.

In Milan's Linate airport, there used to be a huge open area coffee shop (there probably still is). You might not actually realise it is a coffee shop until one of the (rather haughty) waiters comes across to your table.

I sat there one day, and the waiter walked over. "What would you like, sir?" He'd obviously clocked that I was not a local.

"Just black coffee please."

His expressionless face asked.

"Would that be Espresso or (REALLY LOUD SIGH) .....Americano?"

I guess they don't like serving "ordinary" coffee.

Uh....whatever:

Opposite Day is an unofficial holiday when every action is modified so that meaning is negated. It is usually observed among children, and rarely lasts an entire day. Once Opposite Day is declared, statements mean the opposite of what they usually mean. Opposite Day can also be declared retroactively to indicate that what was just asserted had the opposite meaning of what was originally intended (similar to the practice of crossed fingers to automatically nullify promises). Paradoxically, the declaration that it is opposite day is negated as well, implying that it is not opposite day. Play has been compared to a children's "philosophy course."Β  (Wikipedia)

My personal experience is that many people have no idea what they are saying anyway---we don't need any more confusion.

And I have never developed a taste for Irish Coffee---but there is absolutely nothing wrong with Irish Whiskey.

I used to out Irish Cream in my coffee, does that count?Β  Actually I stopped doing that cause I'd rather have my Irish Cream just over ice to really enjoy the wonderful flavor.
