It sounds like a yeast infection. Yeast infections are quite common and something that a quick trip to the doctor will fix. I'd go talk to my mom about it (it's seriously not as awkward as you think). She can probably get you some over the counter medicine for it. And if that doesn't help just go see the doctor and they'll treat it.
