Yes. One day our Pastor called my husband asking if he was missing anything. He had a message on his answering machine stating that this man found a Bible which had a paper in it with our Pastors number and address on it. This good Samaritan ended up bringing it to our Pastors doorstep so he could get it back to its rightful owner.

This is a true story. After our baby grew up to be more than a toddler each year on our anniversary my wife and I would drop him off at his adult sister's home on a Friday night and pick him up on Sunday morning. We would stay at a hotel in town, go out to a movie and have an anniversary dinner afterwards and then go shopping on Saturday. One year  after the week end when we got home and we were unpacking I realized my wedding band was not on my finger. I normally never took it off. I was very upset with myself. That next night after dinner my wife said she had an anniversary gift for me. She gave me another wedding band similar but not exactly like the one I lost. Fast forward to the following year. Off we go to our week end anniversary trip. We are unpacking at the hotel. I reach in to a side pocket of my case and there it is, the lost ring!  The previous year I somehow slipped the ring off in the side pocket of the case. I now wear the older ring along with my wife's' rings on a chain around my neck and the newer ring on my finger.

This story is actually my daughter's story. On St. Patrick's Day, she had a little bit too much to drink at one of the local bars. She left her entire purse containing her credit cards, debit card, driver's license and over $100 in cash. At 3:30 in the morning, there was a young lady at my door carrying her purse. She had been the bartender that evening and saw that she had left her purse and getting her address off of her driver's license, decided to return it to her. Everything was inside including all of the money. The next day, my daughter called the bar and asked when this girl was working again. She had given me her name when she had given me my daughter's purse. My daughter first went in and told the owner of the bar what his employee had done and then not only thanked the bartender but gave her the $100 cash that she had in her purse. This bartender went above and beyond to personally deliver her purse to her home and didn't steal a thing out of her purse when she easily could have. Honesty should always be acknowledged.
