Not the one honored today. Weeds in the garden are beneficial but, they are a pain in the rear end.
I could eat a whole meal on a stick. Teriyaki beef, veggie skewers, corn dogs, Big Sticks, Strawberry shortcake skewers.

You are gonna think I am crazy but I really do have a favorite weed. Its more of the moments behind it though. I LOVE the first thrilled expressions on each of my kids face when they blow on a "blowy blowy" for the first time. I love how excited they get when they see all the little white seeds flying away. And I especially love their little lips when they are puckering up to blow on the blowy blowy. Lol! I love the giggles. I just love those little moments surrounded by those flowers/weeds.
Something on a stick and weed appreciation? One can Thai the two together.
Some weeds are good.
Nothing better than a corn dog with loads of mustard!
I almost had chicken kabobs yesterday but went for the Italian Sausage instead. As for weed appreciation, that depends on your definition of weed. I HATE dollar weed! And while I don't smoke the other kind of weed, i can appreciate the positive effects it has on those with medical conditions..
Thought that was 4/20. April 20 for weed appreciation. And it won't be legal here without a prescipt until next year. Oh you mean the other kind of weeds.Β I always marvel at how a weed can grow rambuctionally in a small pavement crack while the plants in my soil rich, well tilled garden just wither.Β A bit early here for weeds, trees aren't even in bloom. Who ever they are who chooses these national days should get the timing right.
