Did you ever throw a party when your parents were out of town or is that just an exaggeration on tv shows?

I always did, but with their blessing. There were always rooms in the house that were off limits and all of my friends respected that.

Wow! Okay thank you. ☺
I use to tease my oldest when we would leave to church and she didn't want to go.... I would tell her "try and control yourself not to throw a party while we are gone!" Lol! She would laugh then fall back asleep. Lol! I miss that little booger! Grrr!

No, but my brother did all the time. And he wasn't good as covering his mess.

I held a painting party with about a half dozen friends. Amazingly we did get the paint on the walls and not the floors.

That is where you supply the beer, paint, and rollers and your friends supply the elbow grease. You can also paint obscenities on the wall just to cover them up.

No. We always had our parties outdoors at a place we called The Pond. It was actually just a wide swimming and fishing hole in a mountain stream.

Closest I have ever gotten was to hang out with my friend Bill when his parents went away just after his graduation party.

The fridge was stocked with beer, and we ordered pizza, drank beer and finished of his enormous Rum cake left over from the graduation party. We snuck out and lit off fireworks from the athletic field of a near by high school . . . And watched Bo Derek in "Bolero".
