What is a silly, corny word or phrase that you use regularly? Mine is willy-nilly.

I have never heard that one, Didge. Reminds me of my other word cattywampus. Always nice to see you. :)

I haven't heard yours, either. It looks as though they probably mean the same thing.

Too funny! We say "jelly-fishin" when the kids are hanging around usually wanting to ask for something they think we will say no on, or they are bored and what something to do or they are eavesdropping on adult conversation.  We got it from Spongbob Square Pants many years ago when we saw the jelly fish "jelly fishin" around Spongbob one episode! Lol!

Stop jelly fishin around and get to your homework!

You are jelly fishin around! Do you need mama to give you something to do? I got PLENTY of chores that need to be done.

This fly is jelly fishin around my head! Do I stink or something?

Yes, I call kids that. If they have big cheeks I call them scrumy. A cross between scrumptious and yummy. If I call you that you'd better run. Because I bite after that word.
