Yes,I wrote a funny piece about something when I was 10 (Can't remember what it was about) and they printed it.
and the final time,I was 13, I wrote a piece about harry potter it was about how it had challenged the conventional ways girls were portrayed in the books, and that we are more than a pretty face waiting for a man to come rescue us. I was very surprised when they printed it and my school applauded me (except my theology teacher, she was mad that I considered women and men equal.)

My photo was in the paper when I was in third grade, for a receiving a student award. I was also on baseball and soccer teams that had team photos in the paper every year.

Local paper for my high school's debate and quiz bowl clubs, both of which have done quite well in regional competitions. So I got my picture and name mentioned. I think in one of the articles I got a quote in there, but I'll have to check :P

The "biggest" one was actually my husband and 13 year old daughter back in July of last year. They got interviewed and their picture in the news paper. The reporter was reporting a story about the Pokemon Go craze. It was pretty neat. :0)
