Some sightseeing is better a night. For instance we saw Alcatraz at night. I am also a night owl by nature so I tend to clean house at night.

It is cooler to do housework at night. I tend to get a sudden burst of energy when it cools off. Also Alcatraz??? Oh that would be so much fun to visit especially at night!!!! May I ask, how long ago was this? For some reason I thought it was closed down to the "public?"

We did that around two years ago. I just checked online to see if it was still open and it is. The even have a new extended behind the scenes tour. I may have to talk o hubby about that one. It takes a long time though, and it isn't cheap, but he likes Alcatraz. If you ever do go, buy your tickets early.

Sounds interesting. I like looking stuff up like that, the histories behind weird places (like snake island or the town dedicated to feral cats!) Lol! Ever since that one link you posted about smashing lists.com I have read about so many interesting things. Alcatraz is one interesting talked about prison!

Everyone gave such wonderful answers which I could definitly relate to all of them so I am gonna answer this way.....

When I go on a date at night, it feels more like I am a wife going out on a date with her husband..... If I go on a date during the day then I feel like a mom going on a date with her kids father. There is something about the night ambiance that makes a date a "date date."

Does that make since or only in my head!?!?! Lol! โ˜บ

If I can get past the horrible thoughts of how horrible it would be to be lost out in all that dark... scary... you know! Lol! I have been trying to get better and I actually did really enjoy watching it at night from a pier recently. I was a nervous wreck though when my husband took a therapeutic swim in the ocean at night..... and two of my daughters followed him! ๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Aww, I'm sorry you go through all that. I'm more afraid of the freeway traffic and muggers on the sidewalk. The ocean waves actually give me some peace. xoxo
