Hello! I'm starting Grade 10 in september. I found a volleyball camp organized by the local University. It says "no previous experience required", but I'm still kind of worried. I'm not very good at volleyball, and I don?

"no previous experience required" indicates that people just interested in the sport and want to learn the basic are welcome.

If you have any doubts about whether or not this camp is a good fit for you, call the local university and ask someone who is involved with the camp.

This is known as an "Excellent Opportunity".

You should treat it as such, and embrace the chance to learn from the many "Skill-sets" that will be there.

So... You aren't that good and you found a camp that includes beginners. I would say that you found the perfect way to get better. If volleyball is something you are interested in, sign up! I know it is scary to try something new, but it will be worth it. It is all part of growing up. You have a lot of new scary things ahead of you, best to get some practice on something you will enjoy doing.

You go to a camp to learn new skills and to get better at the game. If you are eager to learn, can take directions without getting mad at someone, and listen to your coaches, you should be fine.
