Omit, money, religion, government, military.
In an age of accelerating over-population, of accelerating over-organisation and ever more efficient means of mass communication how can we preserve the integrity and reassert the value of the human individual?
I'm curious when there was ever an age when the value or integrity of every individual was respected. Unconditional plenary dignity seems conspicuously absent from our collective social history.
At least in the current age of ubiquitous mass communication, a potential exists for the individual to assert themselves on a previously unprecedented audience. Take this site as a small example. Whether such assertion(s) render integrity, or are valued by the world-at-large, is a subjective call on the part of the observer.
