Is anyone going to see the eclipse on August 21, 2017, whether you have to travel or can stay home and see it?

I have it maked on my Calendar but I am in the North East so I don't think I will see much.

I'm not in the total eclipse path, I guess I'll see a partial.

That's a pretty long drive isn't it?

About 12 hours if there isn't much traffic. I've done a lot of 12 hour drives in my life, so I am not worried about that, but I do have to go through Atlanta which is never fun.

I hope you get a good view of the eclipse.

If the sky is clear that day (who am I kidding, I live in Florida, of course it will be clear!), and the eclipse is visible, I won't miss it.

If not, I still won't "miss it".

I hope to, but it will depend on the weather and timing.

If I could I'd make a trip up to Oregon to see it. Want to go anyway, thinking about checking it out up there, might be a possible place to call home.

Sigh. Only a partial here. Hopefully the weather will be fine enough to see that much.

Eye protection...everyone !!!
