Fake stuff makes my skin turn green, real stuff looks much better and lasts much longer. Real costs more but you won't need to replace the pieces. I find that I buy classic pieces in real metal and fad pieces in fake metal.

These days, it’s hard to know if 24 karat gold is actually real or not!! The best thing to do is to avoid spending on such ornaments and keep the money for more important things!
I buy both. Costume jewelry is fun, but real gold and silver are lasting investments and heirlooms.
