I live in the US and I layed out fruit for insects to feed the wild anoles but three days later they yet to rot. Why?

Don't worry give it a little more time, before you know it you'll have so much rotten fruit laying around you don't know what to do with it. :)

It depends on how ripe they were when you put it out as to how soon it will rot. And frankly, where I live it wouldn't last laying around to rot. Too many other critters would come around to eat it. Things like raccoons, armadillos or rabbits.
