Hopefully the coma person wouldn't ask me today cuz I would say "go back to bed!" Lol! Just playing!! I would tell him/her you need to lay back down. Your legs may be weak. Let me go get your doctor." And I would frantically press the nurse call button!

You remember those "communicators" they had on Star Trek? Well, we've all got them now and they are MUCH better than the original. You remember the movie 1984? Well, you are being tracked and traced to a much greater degree now than in the movie. You remember people talking about global warming? Well, it's happened.

Unfortunately, there is still no peace in the Middle East, and we're restarting the Cold War. We also still have cats.

Interesting question. It did bring back memories for me of the US Armed Forces History Team. When the POWs were released after the Vietnam War and returned to the US there was a team of doctors and volunteers as well as verfied friends of the POWs to assist them back into our world. They had been held in cells and caves for many years. They were offered recorded news casts that covered years of news. Many had to be delicately informed their spouses had them declared dead and remarried. Many had to be informed of the passing of close family members. It was a fantastic endeavor. Many POWs went back to normal lives, others just faded into the sunset.

Same old political games, just different players. There are lots of new gadgets to help you free up your time, but now more is expected of you and you actually have less free time.

SSDD---essentially.  (I'm jaded this morning perhaps?)

(Jaded---tired, bored, or lacking enthusiasm, typically after having had too much of something.)
