I truly appreciate proper punctuation. I wish more people would use it.

I have nothing but respect for gold star mothers (and fathers). They raised their children to serve our country only to lose them while serving. That is one of the greatest sacrifices any parent can make.

He is doing good now. The first night was not good. He couldn't even keep water down and we were back at the vet early yesterday morning. They gave him fluids, an NSAID and something to settle his stomach. He started with just a bite of food and very little water midafternoon, and was doing better. For lunch today he will get his first full meal. Believe me, he is so ready for that! He has gone over and banged his bowl around in protest a few times. LOL
