I'd say in the 8 range. I learned the hard way long ago what it means to waste money and to go into debt recklessly. Since then it has been, "if I don't need it I don't buy it". I pay cash or if I use a credit card I pay the balance off immediately.
On a scale of 1-10 and 10 being the most extreme, how frugal are you ? And. ..what are you most frugal about with an example (??)
I guess that I'm a 7. I'm frugal but not a cheapskate. If I need something, I'll research it and find the best price that I can. I only pay cash for what I need or want. I don't have any credit cards.
Maybe 5? I save while I can, but I'm young and irresponsible enough not to lament over wasted expenses :p
I'm about a five overall I guess. I'm very frugal when it comes to cell phones. I only pay as I go and rarely turn the thing on unless I'm in some kind of a jam.
I would say a 6 or a 7. I rarely pay full price for anything. If I need something, but not right away I will wait for it to go on sale. My husband and I always buy our grocery staples when they are buy one get one free, and stock up. I will not buy cheap things though. I have found the poor quality just means you end up having to replace them sooner causing you to spend more money in the long run.
