Zinc chloride reacts with lead nitrate to form zinc nitrate and lead chloride. It is a double displacement reaction. The ionic equations are;

ZnCl2 ------ > Zn+2 + 2Cl-1

Pb(NO3)2 ------ > Pb+2 + 2NO3-1

The net ionic equation for the reaction is;

ZnCl2 + Pb(NO3)2 ------ > Zn(NO3)2 + PbCl2

One mole of zinc chloride reacts with one mole of lead nitrate to yield one mole of zinc nitrate and one mole of lead chloride.
