Mongolia is said to be the second-biggest landlocked nation after Kazakhstan. It shares its borders with Russia towards the north and China towards the south. Mongolia was said to be the hub of the Mongol Empire in the thirteen century and was afterward ruled by the Qing Dynasty from the start of the seventeenth century till 1911, after which a self-governing government was created with Russian assistance.
