Just from the sounds of it.....it's a "pirated" copy of the original manufacturers Installer Package. If I remember correctly Microsoft now has a "checker" that checks your software to make sure the software is authentic. When you purchased your PC, the software should have come with an authentication code. As you were setting up the PC, it would have asked for this code. At least my last 2 computers ...more
