Hi there, am not sure of the entire entitlements of having a us green card but I'm pretty sure that it's imperative you get a visa for your country of destination for you 2 permitted to even depart the country. To drive it Googlemaps-France reckons it's over 9 hours and 730 km. Would be a lot less if you could fly into Munich. But Multimap reckons it's less than 3 hours / 276 km / 172 miles to drive it. Which makes no sense! I think French Googlemaps is right and Multimap is confused, because it's basically one side of Germany to the other.
