If the batteries are working fine then you need to check the sensor which is connected to your CPU. Check the batteries of the sensor and see if the wires are connected to your CPU. I think the mouse wire is not attached. If still the mouse doesn't work then you need to check with some other wireless mouse because the current mouse may be faulty. ...more

I don't think so. I have a large house and two cats. When I first moved in, the mice were in the walls. I had the exterminator who rid me of them. Subsequently I got two cats, and have had no further mouse problems. Good luck! ...more
