but for 1)popularity, 2)Because I
really like the guy I date. So why
not let us date for popularity. I
have only had sex once an dit was
because of peer pressure but I am

I know alot of people that do do
this, but I dont, im 13 and I love
my boy friend to pieces! I'll
admit, He's not the best lookin,
but his personality is awesome and
he's very kind and understanding
and always there for me. Me and My
boy friend are looooooosers :P

Yes! Teens usually go for dating
for popularity & that is where
"flirtism" concept gets even more
stronger, when that dating is just
for popularity & not meant for any
solid long-term relationship.
Dating should be not for popularity
but truth is, unfortunately most of

they just in love with the taught
of being in love
and so most of them do it to fit
in, and to be popular, and they
think that they soo in love, to me
thats so ridiculous, teenagers dont
know whats love, they only
experience infatuation, and thats
why the people you date when you

do, they aren't even interested in
their bf/gf until there are other
people around, I would have to be
half and half here as a lot of
teens definitely do not date for

Firstly, if you are a teen an adult
is not your peer, your peer's are
other teens of your age group. A
lot of teen's date due to "Peer
Pressure" that is, their friends
date so they do to appear to fit in
or they get left out. If you don't
want to date to fit in then don't -
you should not have to date someone
you do not really like in that way. |

are particularly susceptible to
peer pressure, and the need to be
popular is overwhelming. If that
means dating, they're going to
date whether they are ready or not.
That can lead to trouble when a
nine-year old decides that they
need to have sex. They haven't
even had any sex education yet! |

Sometimes this is true. Popular
kids date popular people for the
popularity and that IS true. But
thing is sometimes kids do date
truly because this person is
nice/funny/smart basically awesome
. I mean ( have a crush on this
girl that's not rly popular but I
think she's amazing but my friends
think she isn't. But sometime
adults are right sometimes they're
wrong. But on this subject I'm
gonna go 50-50 on it. |

Depends. I'm not american, I'm
portuguese, and in portuguese
schools we don't give much value to
popularity. We date because we are
in loved, that's all. There is no
