Barry Bonds is a roidhead! No doubt
about it! It has been proven he
took the clear but thought it was
something else. I rest my case!

How could he not be? No one can
hit that many and be "hitting" the
juice.

Oh yeah he was on steroids. How do
you think he hit all those homers.
The babe would not be likin' this
very much!

The tests are saying he did, but
then again a lot of players have.
They should just come clean and
start over.

True, the proof is in the pudding
as according to the doctors and
Urinalysis.

I was talking to a friend of mine
from Pittsburgh, PA the other day.
He and I were discussing Barry
Bonds and his former performance
with the Pirates (before playing
with San Francisco). It is
interesting to compare the size
differences from the past to the
present... They're pretty extreme.

Of course he did. I don't judge
him, necessarily, except that he
and many others of us might be wise
to take a second look at what we
do vs. What we SAY we do. And not
that he isn't personally
responsible for his actions, but
instead of asking if Barry
(scapegoat) Bonds is doing
something, maybe a better debate
would be why and how many others
also do. I wonder how many people
are able to resist the possibility
and shameless dangling of $5mx+
dollar contracts--? The promise of
wealth (even temporarily) is a
powerful thing to someone who
hasn't taken the time to really
understand their own value system
or principles...and who is
discouraged from doing so for fear
of trying to put a whole industry
and its fans on notice. That's a
lot of pressure, dontcha think?
(Hey- I have known otherwise
honest people to find a wallet in
Las Vegas with $700 and no ID in
it, and never try to return it to
its rightful owner. That's a lot
less than risking the pressure of a
really powerful sports industry and
sportfan public who make
unrealistic demands at exhorbitant
salaries...) Now understand that
I don't justify a lack of
principles and I don't justify
unethical behavior, nor do I judge
the person who finds themselves at
that place, but I DO understand
how it can happen. I say remember
that talk is cheap, and in the end
all that matters is what you really
DO. Bonds' exposed weakness (like
many other pro athletes) is like
looking in the mirror. (Given the
right incentive, what would
YOU/each of us do?) and serves as a
reminder that we are all vulnerable
if we don't define and absolutely
commit to a set of values that will
guide us through the toughest
situations. I say that goes for
those in the stands, aswell as
those on the field. I'll bet you
feel the same way.

I am trying to understand that you
are saying only Barry Bonds is the
only one using steriods. Please i
think their are just a few that
havent. Go Barry I am happy for
him. He has played this basebase
for years, and I dont think this
is right with all that is going
around that he is tainted.
Nope. If we want to go into any pro
sports. Which we will never know, I
will say the are 98% taking these
but just either havent been tested
or they havent been snitched on.
He earned it!!

 Wrong!!! Barry Bonds is a
professional athlete. He has
trained his entire life to do the
job he works at to this day. In
1961 Yankee fans thought a 61 HR
season was akin to climbing
Everest. The record has been
chalenged many times. The issue of
illegal steroid use has been gone
over and over. IF Bonds had used
any illegal substance he has gotten
away with it. The commissioner of
baseball has allowed him to
continue to play which is a clear
indicator that everything with
Bonds meets with the rules of
baseball. In my limited view the
media should stop rolloing out this
absurd claim. No one has provided
any evidence to show that it
happened so it should be done with.
To Allow these type of debates is
only to hurt the game of baseball
now and for the future.
