They are not scams, but they are really annoying

 Chain letters are done by people who have nothing to do except wasting their time.

 Chain letters are a waste of time and extremely annoying. The things they promise are a lot of drivel, and for anyone who actually believes they will happen, I have some beach front property in Arizona...

I find the the angels, the prayers and the pictures of Jesus are extremely presumptuous. I'm not a Christian, and it's a little insulting to get that sort of stuff from people who are aware of it.
