How did you find out about Dan and
my little oversight with the
aquarium heater? Alright - guess
now that you spilled the beans, for
anyone wondering, Dan is actually
my goldfish. That's right. Dan is
a fish.
And NO, he was hot for a little
while, but now it's all better.
Ya see, one day the furnace in my
house went out--and I didn't want
little Danny to freeze, so I turned
up his aquarium heating element a
few notches... Well, you guessed
it. Furnace got fixed and I forgot
to re-adjust the element in Dan's
aquarium. A couple of days later, I
come home from work, and there's
Danny at the side of the
glass--eyes bulging--just furiously
fanning himself with his little
fins. OMG I felt so bad. I didn't
mean to do it. Anyway, Dan isn't
hot anymore, because I fixed it
straight away, and promise not to
make the same mistake again. Now
Dan is cool, not hot, and I think
he's forgiven me. Things are back
to normal. Thanks for bringing this
to our attention, though.
