It depends on the diet itself. If
you're already healthy, then you
don't need to diet, you just need
to keep a well-balanced set up for
meals and make sure you get a
regular amount of exercise in so
you maintain a healthy weight and
all.

Dieting is good for our health
especially to those who want to be
fit but healthy. Only just if your
dieting is on the right time to do
and it prescribe by doctors

It depends on whether it is a
healthy diet, advising you to keep
off junk food, drink lots of water,
eat everything in the right
proportion,etc., of whether it's
one of the diets telling you to
basically stop eating.

I think "diets" are good in that
they teach you the proper
proportions of food to eat.
Let's face it, we are definitely a
food-loving society in need of a
little discipline.
Good luck to all!!!

 This is inadequately defined. I
know that "dieting" to the extent
of maintaining a general plan for
nutrition and health is a good
thing. Going off and on diets to
lose weight is, in my opinion
ill-advised and verges on bad or
stupid. Off-and-on gives rebound
weight-gain and that will be fat
rather than muscle. Once one has
enough fat to float in fresh water,
ideally, one should be on a food
course that will only need
re-setting as activity levels
change.
My first diet was "Acne Can Be
Cured by Gustave H Hoehn" and I had
not intended to lose weight and I
deliberately went off and on until
I was *up* to healthy weight with a
clear complexion. I bless the
discoverer of "rebound" for desired
weight gain.

Sure it is, along with exercise. As
long as you don't get so obsessed
that you deprive yourself
completely.

Having a healthy diet i am for it.
Not the other way like reducing
your quantity of food I am against
it

It can go both ways. If you
exercise daily and eat healthy
that's considered good
dieting(ish). But if you exercise
excessively and starve yourself,
that's not good dieting, that's
considered a health problem.:3

Yeah. Most of the time. But it's
wrong if it turns into a disease
like anorexia or bulimia and you
get obsessed

Dieting can be good for health
depending on what type of diet you
go on. There are several so called
diets that actually cause harm to
the body while helping you loose
weight. It seems it would be more
beneficial to eat smaller portions
along with more healthy foods.
Also, Diet does nothing for
physical fitness. You must exercise
to gain physical fitness. Diet is
about what you eat and fitness is
about how you tone your body. Two
totally different things.

 Although dieting can help in
maintaining physical fitness but it
is disasterous for health.
Healthy eating & exercise is wht
that keeps you fresh & energtic.
But dieting(or starving) can make
you getting frustrated in even
minor troubles, it can make you
rude-coz of remaining hungry,
unhealthy-physically slim but
mentally very weak.
So, go for healthy food & exercise
& remain fresh with healthy
mind'n'soul.
WHAT DO YOU SAY!

Having a good diet & doing exercise
is good for health

You do not have to diet in order to
be healthy. Just eat right and
exercise. Whats good for your
health is just knowing what to eat
in the first place before it gets
so out of control that you need to
diet. :)

No because good health is a lot
more than just dieting.dieting may
mean something different to another
person so you have to be careful in
the precise wording.it can be good
but it is not the only component.

I believe "dieting" is a temporary
state and cannot be "good" for your
body long term. Exercise is vital
for our health along with a
balanced, nutritious diet.
