Do We Need To Imitate Others
For
I Feel That Its More Important That We Communicate And Make Others To Understand What We Try To Say Than To Imitate Their Customs And Follow It. In Fact They Never Imitate Us . Why Should We Need To Imitate Rather When They Are Ready To Accept Our Slang As They Understand Very Well And Happy With Our Fluenzy And The Way We Communicate. I Am Not Speaking Abt Stlye . Should We Imitate Or Not. Why Shld We Copy Others ? Aren't We Ashamed Of Imiatating ? Are We Slaves To Copy Their Slang And Use It Their Way ?

I believe in the specialness of every person. We all have unique gifts. However, sometimes it is hard for an individual to get their act together. A good role model can be very helpful. People use to learn through apprenticeships and that is like copying a master until you learn his craft. I copied Van Cliburn for years until I developed my own pianistic style.

I think It would be much more better to let them understand ourselves in their style because it would help them understand much more better & 'll look a more friendly gesture to help them understand us.
So, at the end a little bit imitation comes in way but It should never be used as bullying, ridiculing, Insulting. It should only be used as way of effective communication.

Since language is culturally mediated, we need to imitate others to some extent.

We do not need to imitate others.but i do find that if you hang around others(ref.lost)you begin to pick up certain traits of theirs. Just as children pick up what parents do in a family. The more familiar you become with people the more likely you are to pick up certain traits or phrases...

We do not have to immitate others.

However, if there are good things in someone, imitating can be a good thing. We are called to be immitators of Christ.

Everyone was created individually and have their own characteristics. While they say imitation is the best form of flattery, I disagree. Everyone needs to be themselves.

No, everyone should try and tend to their own lives and let the others take care of theirs.

I've had a friend who imitated everything I did and it made me depressed. Imitation is bad even though some people say its flattery

No, because originality is being destroyed by unoriginal people who can't think of their own ideas so they just steal others. Its sickening how much people copy others. ORIGINALITY FTW!

Several good guidelines come to mind here. "To thine own self be true". And "Know thyself". Imitation is inauthentic, erodes our ability to imbue trust, and does not serve either the individual or others.

No need to imitate, we should have our own way of life. In what ever aspect we should live in our own style

NO ! I have never doen this, but I feel others try and do this to me? Why I dont know? I have always been a nice person. But now as you get older, people know what youre like so it kinda leaves the doors wide open for the people who do this. I will remain my own person, even though certain people do this. I think they are maybe trying to do this to make them selves look better
