Without education, you would have really stupid doctors - not good.

 Doctors and teachers are both essential in our world.
Everybody appears to agree that we wouldn't have doctors if we didn't have teachers.

Without doctors we wouldn't have the people to teach, and we probably wouldn't have enough people to become more teachers, scientists, authors, musicians, philosophers, etc. We would have a lot more suffering and death.

If I were have to evaluate the importance of teachers and doctors, I would have to put them on an even keel. We just don't seem to appreciate teachers as much as we should.

 With out the teachers to teach the doctors there would be no doctors. How can a doctor be more important then. After the teaching they may be equal but not to say either is more important. I think they may be even.

 This is like saying without the chicken there would be no eggs and without the egg there would be no chickens.

 Without teachers, there would be a lot of stupid people here. Who would teach the people to become doctors?? Who would teach the people to become teachers??

 Teacher is more important than doctor because even though you can be a quick learner in things but without a teacher to teach you the stuff, you will still not understand the concept of the stuff properly. So i think that teacher is much much more important than doctor.

Some people may say that doctors can teach doctors but doctors can teach medicine but not the ways to cooperate with humanity and other things like the uses of computers and the latest technology. If there were no education there would be no doctors and teachers are the base of education!!

 No one is more important than the next person in line. Doctors do their jobs as well as teachers. So my final answer is no.

 Doctors work on the body. Teachers work on the mind. Medicine is for emergency. Education is for life. Doctors need teachers to become doctors.

 What comes first, the chicken or the egg? Without education you can't have a doctor. In the 12th century doctors bled you to remove bad blood or spirits. Health care was virtually non-existent, yet we lived long enough to pass on knowledge and eventually the ability to teach proper medicine.
