Parents are our parents and not our true friends although they are very close to us.

 While there is nothing wrong with seeing your parents as friends, I think they can only be your parents, not your true friends.

I do not think that god, if there is one, gave me true friends. But I think that a real friendship can only be created by you. You will always be given opportunity for real friends, you just have to see it. Then its your responsibility to make the friendship all it can be.
