Ok well i think having bf/gf isn't much of a destruction b-cuz ur not gonna be with him or her 24/7.... So you can still study and do homework and have time to call him or her .....

 Depends the type of person you are if you are someone that is dedicated and can stay on track all the power to you, go for it but your education will affect you in the future and your love life can wait

 Yes i agree that having bf or gf when studying is total waste of time n energy. Study is an important part of life and hence concentration is of utmost necessary. Have a bf or gf when you start earning. First stand on ur legs and then think of having a bf/gf.

 Well, I guess I have mixed feelings. As grad student, I barely have time to sleep or see my friends, let alone maintain a good relationship. However, it really depends on the two people. I agree...priorities need to be in place. School and studies ALWAYS should come first and if you have a great guy/gal, they will understand that and that will help your relationship even more if they are willing to give you that little bit of space to have your study time.

 I totally agree with what peach_bug had said. I also want to add one more thing, as long as your attention is not diverted away from studies, there is no problem

 As long as you keep your priorities in order and don't allow yourself to be manipulated or confused by feelings.

 Having a BF or GF only helps you learn additional things like how to love, how to care for others, how to use your time wisely so you can still get your studies done and be with your mate. How to say no to them when you know that you have a big test the following day and they want to be together. There is a list of things that it can help you with. It is one of those things that you learn when you think that you are not learning anything.
