Sure I'm for it, it makes the
sports they play even more
interesting and fun to watch.

Yes this is happening due to greed
for money and fame. Stricter laws
should be enforced
|
 07 Aug 2008 07:21

As long as it makes the game more
interesting.

Oh please ! ! ! Should we get
Barry Bonds to answer this one? I
would much rather watch a player
with heart (someone who plays
because they love the game) play
than someone who looks like the
jolly green giant, and doesn't
really care about anything except
the fame and records they can
break.

 I don't think performance enhancing
drugs should be used in any sport.
They give a unfair advantage to the
other team.
I always say this:
If you take steroids in HS you will
never be good enough for
college.
If you take steroids in college you
will never be good enough for the
pros
If you take steroids in the pros
you will never be good enough for
the Hall of Fame.

Usage of drugs in any form is not
permissible, that too especially in
sports. Atheletes should be banned
|
 27 Oct 2008 04:33
|
|
It is cheating when you use drugs
to perform.
|
 18 Oct 2008 06:50
|
|
 Absolutely not! Aside from
creating an unfair advantage and a
bad example for kids, it diminishes
the accomplishments of athletes.
If all athletes took
performance-enhancing drugs, none
would excel in their sport.
How exciting would a sport be if
all the athletes had the same
abilities?
There was no excitement for me when
McGwire broke the single season
home run record, or when Bonds
recently broke Aaron's home run
record, because their performances
are suspect. In light of the fact
that Ruth, Maris and Aaron
accomplished what they did without
drugs, makes their feats even more
exceptional.

I disagree, drugs are never except
able, except the ones doctors give
you. If you play a sport, you
should enjoy playing it, with your
own body, not a body some pills, or
powder, or tablets helped make.
|
 25 Aug 2008 18:25
|
|
That is cheating. It's not fair.
Besides drugs should be used
nowhere.
|
 24 Aug 2008 18:31

They should be banned from playing
professional sport.
|
 23 Aug 2008 07:46

No they shouldn't. It messes them
up mentally, and in some cases,
makes them more aggressive.
|
 25 Jun 2008 04:40
|
|
NO, they should do it as an honest
contest so all is fair.
|
 19 Jun 2008 01:43

Wrong! What kind of example is
that?...cheating as well!
|
 27 May 2008 00:12

 The corresponding associations
(Olympics for example) or the other
sports governing bodies should keep
a check on all the sports persons

I guess they fell off when they
started drinking gatorade.
|

No it's not appropriate for them,
it's cheating themselves and their
nations (when it is a team sport)
|
 02 Apr 2008 16:06
|
|
One who uses drugs for performing
better should be banned for life,
so that others do not do the same
|
 31 Mar 2008 08:25
|
|
 That's totally cheating
|
 22 Mar 2008 02:15
|
|
If you are using drugs then you are
cheating. If it is team sport then
you are cheating your team and your
nation
|
 06 Mar 2008 07:16

 Playing sports should be performed
with ones natural ability to
withstand. There are too many
complications when using drugs and
its not natural or fair to the
opponent(s). This is just another
form of cheating.
|

Using drugs hurts the body be it
for sports or not. Drugs should
not be allowed and random drug
tests should be allowed in every
sport and at every level of
competition. Who cares if it is
more interesting? Drugs are bad.
This is the cold hard truth(Sorry,
Interest or not it is still wrong!)

 The olympics arent about commercial
value. They propose the idea of
sportsmanship and effort. By using
drugs, these athletes set a fake
standard for everyone else and it
destroys all those values.
ALso, we should take into account
that by using these drugs, athletes
will put themselves in danger.
My last point is that is sets a bad
example for people who look up to
them. " Take steroids and and be a
winner! "

Well as long as everyone is on the
same drugs during the event that
would be fine by me...just
kidding!!!!!
As someone else mention before me
-"drugs are for thugs" - do not
bring them to sport unless you want
to ruin your career ,health and
your life!!!
And what kind of competition is
that,where is the spirit ???
|
 22 Oct 2007 03:13
|
|
Cheating is cheating. But as i
suggested in a previous answer,
perhaps they could have a seperate
olympic games for drug enhanced
athletes just as they have a
special olympics. It wouldnt be
cheating if the people they were
competing against were drug users
like themselves.
|
 22 Oct 2007 03:05
|
|
No way! They are not doing it
themselves! It is totally unfair
and it is against the law!
|
 14 Oct 2007 19:23
|
|
No, sports are a measure of you,
not you and drugs that improve you
without work.
|
 09 Sep 2007 23:22

When players use drugs, they are say
they are to week to try!
|
 23 Aug 2007 02:20
|
|
Totally against it! If Babe Ruth,
Hank Arron, Joe Montana, and the
thousands of other great athletes
could accomplish what they did
without the juice then these other
cheating s.o.b.'s should be able to
as well. Assuming that the talent
and heart are there!
The Patriot!

NOOOOOOOO. Definitly not. If they r
a professional athlete they should
have to do it all by themselves.

No way drugs are for thugs it is so
cheep i dont wanna wath a high
player.
|

 ARE YOU KIDding me.
NO~ I dont think anyone should use
them athletic or not.
|
 10 Aug 2007 00:34
|
|
It's unfair to other athletes who
really do play well without the aid
of drugs like steroids. It's
cheating, as what the others have
already said.
|
 09 Aug 2007 21:51

They are cheats. But here is a
novel idea. Why dont we have 3
olympic meetings . 1 the normal
drug free olympics, 2 the special
olympics, and 3 the drug enhanced
olympics. The drug companies would
be delighted to sponsor them. All
those free drug trial volounteers.
|
 09 Aug 2007 05:05
|
|
No, they shouldn't, it will ruin
the spirit of sports!
|
 08 Aug 2007 17:14

No! It is cheating and it is
illegal! I am tired of celebrities
getting away with stuff they
shouldn,t!

 I'm AGAINST it! Wrong action!
