 Yes sometimes it's overused. But
when I use 'love', I mean it. We
can use like instead of love.

Yes in someways, but it's the true
meaning people are loosing. When I
think of love I think of loving
someone so much you would die for
them, love them so much that they
are constantly on your mind and you
are putting them before yourself. I
also think of honesty, respect,
faithfulness, kindness,
communication, trust and other
things.

Perhaps it is overused, because in
the English language, it seems
there are few words which convey
such strong emotional
attachments--whether romantic or
ethereal or material
attachments--and all of the
dimensions of same. The language
usage is being adapted through that
overuse, it seems, and through that
usage it appears we as English
speakers may be becoming more adept
at the subtleties that help
differentiate the word. This still
makes it sometimes difficult for
ESL speakers, however.
