Well it is a form of birth control if you are not ready for a baby. Now the trust issue that is another thing.Cheating does happen so you just have to know your partner and the signs but condoms i am for them you never know . People do cheat everyday.

That works both ways. Now a day's I would want some confirmation that the person I was sleeping with was free of S.T.D.'s I do have enough trust that my mate is not sleeping around.

Depends. If one partner thinks that the other is cheating, then he must use condoms. But if there is total confidence and fidelity between them, why wear them?
It's like lilmama1 said, you just have to know your partner and read the signs he gives you...

If there isn't trust, then you shouldn't get married in the first place. What makes you so sure a condom is 100% effective against disease, anyway?

That's a great way to debilitate trust completely, which could very well result in cheating when you expect your husband to wear a condom. If it's for pregnancy reasons, then maybe the wife needs to get onto birth control or get an IUD installed inside of her [IUD means Intrauterine device; it's a birth control device that gets installed inside of the uterus. They prevent pregnancy for up to twelve years, depending on the one you choose]. [See Mirena page for more information on hormonal contraceptive.]

I don't care for condoms myself. If someone gets worried about an STD, then just go and get checked annually [BOTH the husband and the wife, of course] to make sure they're both clean. Otherwise, I don't see any reason for condoms -- especially in a marriage.

If the husband doesn't fool around and is trustung and feels his wife doesn't fool around then no he needs no protection.

If there is no trust in a marriage then why stay married? I can't fathom the thought of making my husband wear a condom because I couldn't "trust" that he was not cheating on me. I have been married for quite awhile and we have three children and both decided that was enough so when I gave birth to our third I elected to have my tubes tied. Now there is no need for any other form of birth control and if I had doubts about the faithfulness of my husband then there would be far bigger problems then just using condoms!

A major no on this. If you are married your whole relationship is based on trust. If you don't trust who you are married with, then that your bad doing.

If you are married I would think that it would be alright for the condoms to be off. Particularly if there is the hope of a family in the future and both sides agree to it! This is MUCH more responsible than no protection before marriage!

This is an odd one to figure out out... Trust is a case by case issue to say yes or no is only in your current situation... And on an ironic note..... What if your not married? Lol
