Somebody dun stole my line about
ole junior, oh well I'm not
selfish.Some things are
sacred.thank god the NHRA still
is!!I like racing under there
flag. The boys in tokyo are doing
what ford did at LA MANS in1964, 5,
6 buy the race, from Ferrari and
Enzo lost!But a little foot
note,they are building an engine
like chevys SB2.2 chevy countered
with the RO7,still 10 to 15 hp.
Short of toyota. But now nascar is
considering on leveling the playing
field but we will wait and see!!I
guess the rules have changed you
could not race a motor that was not
an over head valve motor. O well
b.s.walks and money talks.

I agree but from the looks of
things we are all going to rice
burners anyway because the US
automakers are going to price
themselves out of business and will
fold up.

Was raised all American, never have
owned a car that wasn't built in
the good ole USA, my dad,
father-in-law, and husband would
kill me. Personally tony Stewart

If it is an all American sport,
then it should have all American
car companies

Nascar just isn't the same anymore.
It's now the Sprint cup" and the
Bush series is now the Nationwide
series. It was real racing before
restrict or plates and all the
rules they have now set in place.
It used to be the team that built
the best car and had the best pit
stops, drivers and figured out how
to set up their cars inside the
"gray areas" came out on top. That
was "competition"!

I have to agree that nascar should
be kept all American, but today
nothing is all American any more.

I agree if you mean that they want
to keep the sport pure as in the
heritage of the ridge runners. Does
Toyota even run a Toyota engine or
a prebuilt nascar engine set up by
the rules? I did not think Toyota
even produced a 400 plus horsepower
engine for any of their vehicles. I
thought nascar was just for
American auto makers. I guess they
will let anyone in if they pay
enough money.

Yes I feel that it started with the
originals like, Richard Petty
Junior Johnson, Buddy baker, Ralph
Earnhardt, Cale Yarbrough & racers
like that. Running the dirt track.
Now thing are so complicated to
where you have restricter plates,
hans devise. Now it has went to
Winston Cup to Nextel Cup now
Sprint Cup. They need to keep
Nascar Series American, the drivers
and their cars. Its getting to the
point its hard to follow because of
all this new stuff. Me I followed
Dale Earnhardt Sr. Until his death
in 2001.

 Unfortunately, Toyota is the only
car made here in the states. It
doesn't look right to have a car
not considered American be in that
race, i agree with that.

 Whatever so called foreign carbrand
is foreign in name but they are
manufactured here in the states so
it is an American car so they have
to allow it in whatever series they
want to participate
