Socialising is an aspect of several
commitments, you can meet new
people, some interesting, few
boring, some cool guys and others
simple, a person can be influenced
by any of the quality and tries to
become a reflection of others, in
spite of that youth also involve in
certain activities which makes them
attracting like drinking, smoking,
etc just to survive in a particular
society

I think it can have a part in what
they face.

Yes, peer pressure is a huge factor
in how kids handle their day to day
lives, but it also comes from
parents who do not tend to their
children and let them run rampant
to do as they wish, even push their
kids out there to do some of these
things.

I do agree as a teen myself there
are pressures everyday to fit in
and it really depends on the
friends you make on your first few
years or maybe even on the first
day you tend to do what they do its
not really a pressure thing its
more a do what they do free choice
thing...as for smoking a lot of my
friends smoke but they have never
ever told me to smoke...they offer
out of genorosity but not as a
"take it or go away" offer. Its
really up to that person whether or
not deep down they want to do the
things that life throws at them.

I believe it applies to everyone,
because we as a species are very
social making our interactions
important not only to ourselves,
but to others as well. Quite often
teenagers can feel isolated and
left with no choice - the
circumstances almost coaxing them
into doing things they might be
averse to. Despite that, peer
pressure isn't always negative.
I've just done my exams (GCSE's in
Britain) and I've found that my
friends have helped motivate me so
much and I them that I don't what I
would have done with them. It
really depends on the community we
live in.

Ii think this i often true, not
always but mostly.i mean, if you
had no one offer it to you, most
people wouldn't take it? But that's
just my opinion

This is not an emergent trend.
