| People Are Never Satisfied-That's What ACTUALLY Keeps The Economy Growing. |

That is the same policy Bush has!
"We'll just Print More Money or
borrow it from SS and then print
more money to pay it back!
This is STUPIDITY to the 10th
POWER!

Yes, and why people are so
miserable with all that they have.

I agree, people are always looking
forsomething else better or
something else to impress their
neighbor.

Yes seems that way someones wants
something done faster cheaper
easier... So they make something
that does that....it'll sell.

I agree, we live in a society where
being a consumer is the ideal. More
is always better, super size
everything, we need to stop
thinking only of ourselves and what
we WANT and start thinking of what
we and those around us actually
NEED. I agree that we can live and
enjoy and all of that but the gross
overload of things and more and
better gets old fast and leads us
to depression and unnecessary
competition. We shop around to find
the "BEST" and next week we are
terribly disappointed because
something "BETTER" has come to
light. It's stuff people, stop
watching tv and find that dusty old
leather ball (the one without the
computer that tells you how fast
you throw) pick up your cell phone
and find the "call" button and type
in your buddy's phone number (oh
wait you have a special button for
that so you don't actually know the
number) and ring them up and tell
them to come over and play a ball
game with the family instead of
sitting at home texting while
watching tv and playing computer
games.
I digress... Put the credit cards
away and enjoy what you have. The
economy will survive, matter of
fact why don't you try spending
that extra money on a cook book and
a few seed packets and grow some
vegetables, keep yourself going
too.

I think that is true, in fact let
me take this one more step this
keeps our economy going, but this
is also what keeps the American
families in sky high credit card
debt..I absolutely agree with
soundman.

I don't think that, that is the
exact reason, but I think it is
part of the reason.

I don't think that is why the
economy keeps growing.

I think that people are sometimes
satisfied, which is why I am
posting over here. I would blame
politicians for being unable to see
beyond "growth" and votes,
industrialists for being unwilling
to see beyond profit, and media for
advertising all this stuff and
creating a "market" for it. Plus
idiots that cannot see how
unsustainable this all is.
