I don't write paragraph upon paragraph of claims and support because I think vowels look sexy! It's a debate. I'm trying to get some dialogue going.

 I agree it would be useful if the instigator of the question were to comment on the answers to the questions, even if it's only "Thanks, just what I was looking for".

 Yes i agree with u, because the reason why we ask question is to find out the exact answer, so if we comment on a particular ans, {{not every or not on the perfect correct answer. But on the answer, which do not convey the exact ans.}}. So it will filter out unnecessary statements and give u the perfect answer. So may be the answer find the correct answer and may be next time, he will try to find out the correct ans, and then submit at the blurtit.

 If it is a good comment and said in a noce way but I see some comments that are just rude.

 Yes we should always comment on our answers. This not only let others see that how much their contribution helped but also encourages them to participate more in that person's debate.

 I admit it, I don't always get to all my comments, but I do try and I try to be as diligent as possible rating answers to questions.

 I think this will improve with time, there are more now than there were a while ago. Hopefully it will continue.

 I guess even if it is a simple thank you, but because the don't doesn't mean that they are discourteous, they might have gotten the answer or a better answer earlier an haven't checked their questions.

 Yes,it's a nice way to express gratitude.Because so few people did it when I first came here,I began to think it was bad manners,but now I know its not,so I always try to remember to leave a comment.

 It is always fun and rewarding to see your answer has been appreciated, so getting some comments is what i expect others to do and i for it!

 Yes, I also agree, their are certain people on here who will research for you, It is a very good way to get advice from others
